Merryfield Academy is a nationally accredited school established in 2006 with a rich history of nurturing students who are passionate about their craft and dedicated to pursuing rewarding careers. Our commitment to excellence has expanded to new horizons with the introduction of our latest programs. At Merryfield Academy, we understand that education goes beyond the classroom. We offer a range of programs designed to prepare students for successful careers, with a strong emphasis on hands-on experience and real-world application. We offer four career-focused programs including: Professional Pet Grooming, and Professional Pet Grooming with Anesthetic Free Dentals, Medical Assistant and Massage Therapy. We offer day and evening classes.

Professional Pet Grooming: With our 600 clock-hour program, we equip students with the essential skills required to thrive as professional groomers. Our program’s core elements emphasize speed, skill, accuracy, and confidence, paving the way for employment opportunities in salons, mobile grooming, and even entrepreneurship.

Professional Pet Grooming with Anesthetic Free Teeth Scaling: Combining our grooming program with specialized dental scaling, charting, and swaddling techniques, this 900 clock-hour program empowers groomers to offer an extended array of services. Graduates gain the skills to enhance the overall well-being of pets in their care.

Medical Assistant: Our new and exciting addition to the lineup is the Medical Assistant diploma program. This 10-month, 41.5 quarter-credit hybrid program combines classroom instruction with hands-on training. Graduates are equipped to provide quality patient care by mastering medical terminology, clinical procedures, patient communication, and more.

Massage Therapy: Elevate your career prospects with our 7-month, 600 clock-hour Massage Therapy diploma program. Designed to prepare students for entry-level employment as Massage Therapists, this program combines classroom instruction and hands-on training. Graduates will master anatomy, massage techniques, ethics, professionalism, and business practices, making them eligible to take the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx).
